Antonino Ferraro

Antonino Ferraro is a Tenured Assistant Professor at Pegaso University (Italy) in the Department of Information Science and Technology and a member of the “Artificial Intelligence and Extended Reality Center” (xRAI).

He graduated with honors in Computer Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II and earned a PhD in Technology, Innovation, and Management from the University of Bergamo in collaboration with the University of Naples Federico II.

His main research area is Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on time series forecasting through Deep Learning approaches, graph modeling in the context of smart cities, and Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI). These research efforts are applied in Industry 4.0, healthcare, and energy management.

Dr. Ferraro has served as a Program Committee member of several international conferences, as a Workshop Chair, and also as a Local Organizing Chair, organizing special sessions at IEEE/ACM conferences. He has also participated in European and National projects.
